ALERT FROM OUR STATEWIDE Indiana Wind Watch members,

The move has been made to take away local control of the siting of industrial wind turbines and solar panel projects. We do not want this to happen! In Ohio, local control was taken away for the siting renewable energy projects and now the people have very little say, and if you want any say we will have to go to Indianapolis where we have largely been ignored when we have testified in the past. HB 1381 can be read here

Ethan Manning, who represents half of Cass County, Miami County and part of Fulton County spoke about the bill during a Facebook Fulton County Chamber sponsored Zoom call with Manning, Stacy Donato from Cass County and Marshall County's Jack Jordan - they all represent counties that have effectively stopped industrial wind yet Manning and Jordan spoke in favor of 1381 and renewable energy while Donato stayed silent.
