What Do I Do to Stop Solar Farm?

I need help figuring out how to stop a solar farm from being put on 3 sides of my property. I have tried calling, emailing the county judge but he never returns calls. Of course he is for solar farms because he is looking at the $ for the county.

We have talked to a few neighbors and they are all against it. I just don't know what the next step is? Any suggestions?

Ive been to courthouse to lookup leases and to try to find out the company. Its like hush hush. Nobody wants to give any information out. It is overwhelming to say the least!
I just feel outgunned already!

also look at Say No Solar Adams and http://wiseenergy.org, in most cases follow the money and obtain solar leases to pursue public corruption and state ethic violations

if you file Right to Know requests, they have to disclose documents at least that is the case in Pa..

I've never felt so compelled for a cause though, so I have to keep trying no matter the outcome. The property I live on (50 acres)has been in the family since 1944. It is just sickening!

Certified mail. cc: his boss, county legislatures, town board, planning board. Keep a log of all emails.
Include property photos, signatures from all neighbors.

Whose the developer? What’s the name of the power plant? Address? What’s the capacity in MW/DC? Project site acres? Solar coverage acres?

so sorry to hear this. First thing... start taking to your neighbors, make sure they are aware. Then find a land use lawyer. This isn't easy... you will have to call 10 to find one willing to take on Goliath. Then spend a crazy amount of time researching and learning about your local politics and the solar industry. It is not easy but you must.
You need to fight the solar company, the solar sell- outs and all the people who are drinking the "green" kool-aid.. solar and wind is not what they claim....
