If you are trying to stop a solar or wind farm in your area, you might check out the idea of trying to find any land trusts in your county or state that are willing to buy the land in order to preserve it or contacting various orgs that help preserve farmland and/or forests for valuable information and help.

Another idea is to read articles relating to other people and area's that are trying to "preserve" area's, not just from wind or solar farms, but from all types of so called "progress."
