That is awesome!!!! We had our planning commission attorney get mad and tell us to leave tonight. Glad to see someone’s government officials are listening to them.

Your commissioners have authority over them if they will have courage to stand as ours did.

This project was rubber stamped all through planning. They ignored our concerns. Our commissioners did not.

we only have one Commissioner willing to help. The other two are very much on the solar companies side.

Not good! Do you have an attorney? We had agricultural land use protection that planning ignored or chose to interpret differently. The attorney helped them see it our way and 3 of our 5 commissioners stood with us.

Solar panels are loaded in toxins and they will poison the land and water for decades

If we are to be able to grow food we have to reign this in.

Nancy Pelling Congratulations
on winning your fight and giving much needed hope to other communities. In this environment with so much corruption, we all need to celebrate the wins. Thank you for sharing.

The pandemic has shown us under no uncertain terms just how important local food production is -- even here in Adams County, PA near Gettysburg -- because of our wonderful farmers we are NOT dependent upon food being trucked in. And yet there are those within our government who are pushing hard trying to get Industrial Solar Plant approval on our AG land. There has not been a moment of consideration to those adjoining property owners whose homes will have a significant loss in value. WHY? We must unite across the country and help each other stop this from happening.

.I wish that everyone fighting a solar or wind "farm" would have the same results.
