Question - Are the 6 foot fences topped with barbed wire that surround Solar "Farms" electrified?

It would depend on the individual site, but I generally wouldn't have thought so. If there is an electrified component to the fence it'd likely be a straight bit of wire held away from the main fence.

They look so much like prison fences, it wouldn't have surprised me if they were electrified.

solar facilities in Florida have a 6 foot chain link fence with 2 feet of barbed wire on top. Lots of warning signs on the fence saying Danger keep out!!
