Revisiting some issues that are not brought to the forefront when Solar "Farms are being promoted.

Vegetation Overgrowth. Vegetation can transform from a benign nuisance in to a major issue very quickly. In addition to attracting animals that then cause their own brand of destruction, vegetation can shade cells, interfere with wiring and affect structural integrity.

Vegetation that is controlled by mechanical means such as a tractor and deck cutter will also compact the ground and over time create channels in the ground. The compaction hinders water from absorbing down into the soil (creating more surface water) and the channels funnel it changing the run off patterns that the area developed over decades if not hundreds of years, and increases instability and erosion within those channels.
