Litigation Filed in Franklin County, Texas, Seeking Protection from Foreign Solar and Battery Development Plans -
Having failed to obtain support from the Franklin County Judge, County Attorney and Commissioners (with Jerry Cooper — P-1 — serving as our sole support for protection of the public); we now have filed the first of several contemplated lawsuits to seek the proposed assault on nature and man in Franklin County, Texas.
The petition, filed in Franklin County District Court on June 29, 2023, with exhibits is attached as a PDF.
Come for a reception and then panel discussion with leaders from state-wide environmental groups Thursday, July 20, 2023 (12:00 noon — 2:00 p.m.) at Penelope's Coffee, 405 Tx Hwy 37, Mt. Vernon, Tx. Please attend as we report on opposition to mine our natural resources and leave devastation.
We have the recurring questions regarding clean up, damage and destruction and nothing resolved; land ruined, trees bulldozed and burned and water polluted. We will do better by our land and people.
