The Citizens Against Industrialized Solar Plants in Southwestern Shelby County is still up and very active. That page is more specific for that area but we are finding out there are areas all over Shelby County that are being inundated with Solar Companies trying to get land signed up.

This is a huge mess for Shelby County and everyone is going to have to get involved. Little Marion is the most recent and several land owners have been contacted in the last few days. We are hearing they want as much as 8,000 acres!

This new group is for county wide use so people can start sharing information about what’s going on all over the county. It’s going to take a lot of people from all areas of Shelby County to stand up against Industrial Solar so our elected officials will take appropriate action and put measures in place to ensure the safety of its residents.
