Help Us Fight Against Orion Renewables

Post by FTW »

Please share any and all information you have relating to Orion Renewables or any of their other companies across the USA.

They are heartless money hungry users and liars that will sneak around promising bags of gold to old farmers that no longer farm their own land and to local board members that want more income from taxes.

The reality is they hide what they are doing from the public, until they have enough farmers willing to sign away their property, for the rest of their lives. Then once they get the ok from the local tax collectors, they change the plans and convert more farmland from crop producing acreage to land where they can drive steel posts deep into the ground, remove precious top soil, install rocks, concrete, wires, glass and toxic chemicals, all in the guise of saving the planet.

Also be advised that once they get approval for ONE solar development, they will SELL the development to someone else, so they don't actually have to spend money on building the "dream projects" they claim to build.

Next comes the expansion where they try to add more developments in the same county and will keep pushing the limit until the citizens finally wise up and say enough is enough. After all, keep in mind that while energy may be renewable, land is not. The earth, this country and your county only have a limited amount of farmland and every time you remove 300 acres that turns into 1,000 acres, then turns into 3,000 to 12,000 acres of farm land per county, you are destroying a valuable source of food and jobs.

Spencer County Indiana is one great example. Orion initially stated they were going to convert 300 acres of farm land to a solar project. It then turned into over 1,000 acres of land that would be fenced off. They even removed full grown trees and buildings were even removed, including at least one farmhouse, to make room for the solar panels.

Once that first project was approved by the county, Orion sold it and started signing up farmers for another 1,000 acre project in the same county. Now they are secretly in the process of singing up farmers for a third project in the same county and so far, no one is leaking information as to how many acres that one may involve.

We have also obtained information relating to the same company trying to get their foot in the door in a rural Kentucky county, where they will try to do the same thing.

So, we are using this post as a format to encourage ANYONE that has knowledge of Orion Renewables trying to set up a solar project in their community to please share any and all information you are able to obtain.
