A National and Local Campaign Needs Your Help

Here is a suggestion for a campaign we can get started on a national scale.

1. We need someone to write a formal letter that can be signed and snail mailed and e-mailed by local residents, to city, township and county zoning boards and/or commissioners, encouraging them to pass an ordinance requiring solar and wind developers to file reports with the township, city or county on a monthly basis, listing every parcel of land within their jurisdiction, that has signed a lease giving the developer permission to install solar or wind projects.

It should also be stated that the information on these monthly reports should be made available to every local real estate office and home owner that tries to sell a parcel of land or home before, during or after the installation of a solar, wind or battery project.


2. We then need someone to write a formal letter that can be signed and snail mailed and e-mailed by local residents, to city, township or county zoning boards and commissioners as well as state legislators, encouraging them to pass an ordinance or law requiring every homeowner within their jurisdiction to disclose any information recorded at the local town, city or county office relating to leases that have been signed allowing the installation of solar or wind projects. It could also include battery storage units needed or used by the solar and wind projects.

There could be a clause stating that once a potential solar or wind lease has expired or the initial solar or wind developer no longer exists or intends on developing project in the area, the leases stored at the court houses can state those facts.
