Special Message for anyone writing to a politician.

Instead of simply signing your name, you might also want to let them know that you are affiliated or a member of xxx organization or x number of organizations.

For example, don't lie but if you can say that members of x number of organizations or groups in your county, state or country will be appreciative of any votes they make to pause, postpone or stop a certain development that would be potentially harmful to voters.

One other tip that "may" have some effect. In our case, when several of us recently approached our governor, we asked him to place a temporary pause or hold on any "approved" solar or wind developments in the state that have not begun construction, until the state legislators can pass new restrictions on where they can be built, such as on government property, or land that has been strip mined, or even land that is already owned and used by existing coal powered power plants.
