People who have given up before they've even started.... how do you deal with these people? Has anyone had any success getting them to drop the "why bother" attitude and actually do something to support the campaign? At minimum we're asking them to put an objection in to the authorities. They're quite happy whining on FB about it but won't use that same time to whine to the people that matter.

Sometimes just rallying them together helps. We got a small core group built and then pulled a public meeting together outside due to Covid we had over 160 show to our first meeting.

160 is impressive! Well done. We've got a great core team and we went public on Saturday, so still early days in our campaign. Locals here are deflated from losing other battles. It is understandable, but not constructive. You lose 100% of what you don't fight for. We go into a second lockdown tomorrow and are unable to meet people, even outdoors.

that part stinks! Try doing calls or reaching out to each neighbor personally. That is how we got so many to show. At each of our government meetings we have maintained 25-70 at each meeting which is pretty good since they are 1 or 2 meetings a week. We have lost countless hours fighting solar - little sleep and you have to stay tenacious!

your campaign and dedication sounds very impressive! Yes already lost a lot of sleep. My little one's future is worth it though.x
