Forest Gate Power Plant Questions

Eden Renewables 50MW/AC solar power plant in the UK. I suspect there is a great deal more that needs to be known about the Forest Gate power plant than what the local media reports.

Who is buying the 50MW/AC of electricity produced?

How large is the battery storage, where is it located, and what are the safety concerns? What is the site disturbance?

Who is the owner/operator of the power plant? Who is doing the construction? Is Eden getting the site shovel ready and then selling the power plant?

How many semi-trucks of supplies will be brought to the site? How many deliveries of photovoltaic panels?

Is Eden currently involved in any litigation? Has the company been in litigation in the past?

Will the owner/operator be permitted to use herbicides and pesticides?
What is the return on investment? When does the power plant begin making money?

According to a quick search on the internet Eden's parent company, Solstice Renewables, had unfavorable media coverage. How is Eden Renewables different?

The project rendering appears to omit neighboring residences/businesses. Where is a site plan that includes all buildings, dwellings, and businesses within 1 mile of the solar power plants boundary?

The local media is very helpful for starting this conversation, but indeed there is much more to know!

I live in old Derry Hill just across the road from the proposed site a lot of the houses are listed and the closest is less than 30m away. Us residents attended the webinar and they couldn’t answer all our questions. It’s 200 acres on green belt land and 100,000 panels, there must be a better location and not next to a community, it’s on Bowood land owned by the Marquis of Landsdowne the CEO is the son-in-law of the Duchess of Cornwall, the majority of residents are against and will fight 😡😡😡😡
