Our group is determined to get the word out to the public. Sad but true, there are still people in the community who haven't heard about this industrial power plant potentially being built on over a thousand acres of prime farmland.
I received word that a young, first time buyer was about to close on a property he planned to build his first house on. The day before he was due to close on the property, he found out about this planned industrial solar plant. He immediately withdrew his offer to buy based on the fact he was not told about Ranger Power's plans.
Turns out the real estate agent hadn't been told by the seller which BTW is illegal.
The seller is fortunate that the Offer to Purchase was withdrawn as he would have opened himself up to a potential lawsuit.
